My burnt headlight bulb, to be exact.
The one that burned out was on the drivers side, which is also where the battery is. I wound up having to go under the wheel arch to get to it. I also decided to change the other one because I’d like to have two brand new bulbs instead of one brand new bulb and one that isn’t so new.
Speaking of which, the passenger side bulb took me less than a minute, whereas the other one took a whole millennia not really.

Not rapidly. I had to lift my car at one point, and I used that opportunity to look under the pump. The control arm was covered in old fluid. I can still drive it, just every now and then I have to check the fluid level in the reservoir before I get it fixed.

I had to swap MY drivers’ side bulb out as well a few days ago! The high beam filament burned out on one of my replacement brighter Sylvania SilverStar bulbs - had to pop one of the OEM bulbs back in that I had kept (I’d kept both OEM bulbs as spares).
Luckily, Humdrum being a cheap economy car, everything is simple and that bulb can easily be changed in 5 mins by just reaching into the engine compartment. :)

This sounds suspiciously like replacing the passenger’s side bulb in the Mrs. Corolla. It is almost like an engineer took as a personal challenge to see how close the battery could be to the light assembly giving you hope of not having to take things out to replace a bulb. Thankfully I didn’t end up having to go through the fender, I almost pulled the battery instead.

Exactly the same as my MkIV Jetta – the driver’s side is up against the battery, and you have to remove three plastic covers (including the battery cover itself) to get at it. And even then, you’ll still skin all your knuckles in the process.
But the passenger’s side? You could do it blindfolded.

I replaced one of my taillamp/brake lamp bulbs eight days ago on my Honda Fit. It was rather easy in comparison to this, since you go in through the cargo area.

I had to replace a taillight bulb in my cousin’s C230. It was surprisingly easy for a German car. You’d think you had to remove both mirrors before accessing the taillight bulbs.

I’m dreading the day this happens on my 07... I am also not happy with the process of removing my front wheel when I need to change my oil. Come on Honda, get it together.
